I've had a Lamborghini Veneno stripped down and painted sparkly brown for a while now, but I haven't had a plan for how to finish it out. It's a crazy car with all sorts of strange shapes and angles. The real Veneno is not really that interesting to me, as the design is just too far-out. So I've hoped to make this look nice, but I haven't had any great ambitions for it. Here's what I came up with. I'm pretty happy with it! |

I've made progress! Actually, I finished out my two Porsches. I showed them earlier in the bare-metal stage (which you can see here) and finally found time to work on all the painting. A coat of primer, a few coats of color, then all the detail work to be done. I used a beautiful brown metallic paint, and I think it looks fantastic! The color is so rich and vibrant, and the metal flakes pick up the light amazingly well. Here is stage one of my customizing project. Well, technically this is stage two. One is drilling out the rivets. So these have been separated out into their parts; metal body, plastic windows, plastic interior, plastic or metal base with wheels, and that one spoiler. I've obviously stripped the paint off of them in preparation for their new finishes, then loosely reassembled them for some photos. I hope they come out well!
Here I have a Koenigsegg Agera R, a Lamborghini Veneno, and two fabulous Porsches. A 993 GT2 and a 934 Turbo RSR. These two are amazing. |
